The Media Is the Enemy of the American People

The Media Is the Enemy of the American People

GREG GUTFELD: Mainstream media’s midterm coverage is a form of ‘meddling’ in our elections. It’s been an unhelpful distraction for many voters.

It’s been an open secret for more than a year. The media were the first to talk about what was happening with the Democratic Party, but now it’s up to the voters to decide who to believe.

We don’t have to be friends with the mainstream media to do our part to fight back.

GREG GUTFELD (HOST): A couple of years ago I used a phrase that I thought was funny. I said “The media is the enemy of the American people,” but I used it ironically to make a point.

I wanted the voters to understand that this press was just as important as anything else in our democratic process.

I still believe that the right balance is to support the media but not to take every side of every issue and say they’re the whole truth.

JAY RUDDAN: There is something about the media that drives me to say, “Well, of course it is, it’s just a business,” and it’s not a business that we can trust.

The media is just as biased as the government. If you want to trust the government, that’s your right. But if you want to trust the media, this issue is right there.

The news media’s job is to tell the public what they want to know. They certainly aren’t here to tell the public what to do.

They’re here to inform the public what is going on and to give fair reports of the news. Some of the news is what’s going on.

It’s not the news, it’s what people are thinking. It’s what the public needs to hear.

I just hope that Americans wake up before the rest of the world realizes what is happening with the media, and what impact that is having on our country.

I hope that
