Sylvester Stallone says he was worried that filming his new reality show would be embarrassing ‘every day’
Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he believed there could be a risk every time his wife Jada Pinkett Smith went through with her plans to film a reality TV show.
‘I was afraid that, every day, I’d have to ask her to leave me alone, and have to make her apologize to me, and have to tell me to get my hands out of my pocket,’ he told an audience at the CinemaCon film industry conference in Las Vegas.
‘I was always saying to her, “I’m going to do it because I love you, but I’ll be embarrassed watching it.”
‘It was such a weird experience because it was so weird to me, because I just love her so much.
He added: ‘It was like, “OK, fine. It’s OK.” My wife’s just a human being, she’s not an animal.
‘She’s just somebody that I’m madly in love with.’
Stallone added that all the time he was with his wife he was worried about her’showing me respect’ and that she would ‘get on [his] nerves’.
‘My wife is just a human being, she’s not an animal. She’s just somebody that I’m madly in love with’
‘I’m just an older, well-educated, gentleman. My wife has to realize I’m a grown man. I mean, that’s just the way I am.’
Stallone is currently in pre-production on his new sitcom which is inspired by the film ‘Men in Black 3’ and stars his daughter Jada, who is pregnant with their third child.
On the show, which is being produced by Lionsgate,’she’ll share what she sees, what she loves, and what she doesn’t like’ and she is also expected to write a new book, which he is writing with co-writer Nick Santora.
